Which underdog best symbolizes Barack Obama?

Sat Jun 07, 2008 at 01:49:34 PM PDT

(I am re-posting this today, two months after I wrote it.  It is time to focus on the Republicans in earnest now.  Enjoy.)

No one thought the Marlins would win either!

I am feeling it.  The groundswell of support, the unflinching momentum in the face of the scorched earth tactics, the absolute weakness of John McCain...

This could really work.  The underdog could win the championship.

Which of these equivalents does it seem most like?

As always with this kind of thing, I don't mean to count any chickens before they are hatched.  I just feel real good about our chances, especially since the polls are showing the strength to weather the storms.

And everyone loves an underdog.
